Job Description of Finance Coordinator:Reporting to the Finance
Manager, the Finance Coordinator's primary function is to work with
the Finance Team to provide technical assistance in financial
matters in coordination with program staff. This person will share
responsibility for assisting the tracking and maintenance of
program funds.Duties & Responsibilities of Finance
Coordinator:Process accounts payable and receivable, including
grant invoicing.Assist with payroll functions.Reconcile accounts
monthly.Track grant funds and prepare reports for grantors and
funders.Assist with fraud prevention including monitoring bank
activity.Assist with monthly and yearly closeouts.Ensure
maintenance of proper documentation for all financial
activities.Participate in improving financial systems and
forms.Assist the Finance Team and Director of Operations with the
annual financial audit.Work closely with the Our House staff to
track financial information and maintain compliance with grant
requirements.Provide support to other direct service staff and/or
programs as necessary.Solve problems, share data, and work with
staff members in accordance with grant guidelines and financial
procedures.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents.Be
willing to continue learning and staying up-to-date on relevant
accounting standards.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and
Requirements of Finance Coordinator:Must possess a valid driver's
license and vehicle to use in performance of job. This position may
require some travel within Central Arkansas.Must be able to pass
criminal background and child and adult maltreatment screens and a
pre-employment drug screen.COVID-19 vaccination required. We will

reasonsA Bachelor's degree or above is strongly preferred.At least
2 years' experience with accounts payable and general
ledgers.Working knowledge of GAAP, financial audits, and other
regulatory requirements.Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but
not required.Previous non-profit agency/grant-funded environment
experience is preferred but not required.High proficiency in
working with databases, Excel, Adobe PDF, and Google Sheets.Have an
understanding of fund accounting and cost center
allocations.Experience with data analysis.Must have the ability to
work independently, have a strong attention to detail and accuracy,
excellent organizational skills, good communication and
interpersonal skills.Able to sit for extended periods and perform
computer entry for extended periods.Ability to lift 25
lbs.Action-oriented, patient, adaptable, and innovative approach to
planning.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to
work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of
people.Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude,
