Job Purpose and Scope: Coordinates daily editorial and content
creation operations of the corporate content marketing program.
Performs as key contributor to the blog and website, as well as the
author of various communication pieces for customers and employees.
Serves as the guardian of voice, quality standards, editorial
guidelines, and content strategy. Actively participates as part of
the Marketing team and reports to the Executive Vice President,
Marketing Director. Essential Job Functions: 1. Writes evocative,
informative, and insightful content that connects with target
audiences and compels them to engage and learn more. 2. Accountable
for content creation, from outline to publishing, sometimes in
collaboration with other writers, editors, business units,
managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders. 3.
Coordinates editorial operations for the content marketing program,
including administration of the content calendar and editorial
review workflow. 4. Publishes quality content, with a critical eye
for purpose, structure, voice, and tone. 5. Conducts results
analysis and produces insights and recommendations for management.
6. Creates communications in the form of blog posts, social media
content, letters, emails, ad copy, website copy and other content
vehicles as needed. 7. Performs other duties as assigned, including
supporting priorities within and outside the department. Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities: 1. Skilled in writing and editing for
internal and external audiences. 2. Knowledge of digital media and
skill in using WordPress software. 3. Knowledge and understanding
of bank s brand. 4. Ability to use voice effectively to convey
messages. 5. Ability to organize work effectively, with attention
to detail, to meet deadlines. 1. Ability to work independently and
take initiative to meet objectives. 2. Produces content across
multiple blog and social channels for multiple audiences. 1.
Demonstrates an editorial mindset and seeks to understand content
consumption among target audiences. 2. Ability to apply market
insights and information to build compelling, innovative and high
value content by using strong communication, presentation, writing
and editing skills. 3. Ability to work effectively as part of a
team to resolve problems and build and maintain relationships with
all levels of management/employees, key stakeholders and clients.
4. Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers
in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook,
Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Equipment Use in Job
Performance/ Working Environment: 1. Personal computer with
Microsoft suite of products, including Word and Excel. 2. Photocopy
machine 3. Facsimile machine 4. Telephone/Cell Phone Major Job
Demands (Physical/ Mental): 1. Working under pressure and with
deadlines. 2. Occasional overtime. 3. Manage multiple priorities.
