(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign
Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within an
educational setting. This role requires delivering clear and
effective communication support for students and staff,
facilitating accessibility through sign language interpretation
during virtual and in-person learning sessions. Key
responsibilities include: Providing accurate and professional sign
language interpretation for telehealth consultations and classroom
instruction Ensuring accessibility compliance by effectively
conveying educational content for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to support
individualized communication needs Maintaining confidentiality and
adhering to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines throughout all interactions
Participating in ongoing professional development and training
relevant to sign language and telehealth best practices Desired
qualifications and experience: Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting skills Experience
supporting telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools
Previous experience working in schools or educational environments
is preferred Strong understanding of deaf culture and communication
access requirements Ability to work independently under a 1099
contract agreement, managing schedules and client needs effectively
