Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. A school-based Physical Therapist opportunity is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) 2026 term in Huntingdon County, PA. This position involves delivering in-person PT services across two school sites located within close proximity. This per diem contract role is ideal for PT professionals experienced in pediatric school settings and looking to contribute to student progress during the summer months. Location: Huntingdon County, PA (two nearby school sites) Schedule & Caseload: Contract spans from June to August 2026 6/23/267/16/26 (4 weeks): Serve 4 students with varied session lengths: 2 sessions of 30 minutes each over 4 weeks 1 session weekly for 45 minutes 1 session weekly for 30 minutes 6/22/268/3/26 (6 weeks): 1 student (time to be determined) Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality physical therapy services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation consistent with PDE requirements Provide services solely in-person, adhering to all applicable guidelines Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings Ability to manage multiple caseloads with tailored session plans Commitment to in-person service delivery Benefits: Flexible per diem schedule during the ESY session Opportunity to impact student growth during critical summer services Interested PT professionals who meet the qualifications and are available for the outlined dates are encouraged to apply and contribute their expertise to this important educational role.
