Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special
Education Teacher and Case Manager in a high school setting in
Yorktown, VA. This contract position begins immediately and runs
through June 5, 2025, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per
week, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will be responsible
for managing a caseload of 7-8 high school students requiring
specialized education services. Your expertise will ensure these
students receive tailored support to meet their educational goals
while collaborating with staff and families to advocate for student
success. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing
individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitoring student progress
and adjusting instructional strategies as needed Coordinating
related services and resources to support student development
Maintaining detailed records and case documentation Acting as a
case manager to support student and family communication and
resources Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Virginia
Special Education Teaching License required Endorsements in special
education or related fields are advantageous Strong organizational
skills with proven case management experience Commitment to
fostering an inclusive classroom environment Ability to collaborate
effectively with school teams, students, and families This position
