position you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people
around the world. The Sr .Electrical Engineer for this role will
provide leadership and creativity in design, development,
optimization and implementation of Wet Wipes, Coform, Solution Mix
and general plant infrastructure. Candidates should have expertise
across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments
and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide
specific project work direction to a broad range of team members.
The role to the facility Engineering Manager and receives direction
in the form of broadly defined objectives.Responsibilities:
- Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects
with a financial scope from less than $1MM to over $25MM from
conception to commercialization.
- Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation,
design, development and optimization of Wet Wipes, Coform and
Solution Mix converting and manufacturing equipment and processes
to meet unit objectives.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application
of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project
management.
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop
equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and
guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators,
maintenance and other personnel.
- Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/ opportunities to
achieve unit objectives. Identify complex technical issues to
determine root cause. Explore, initiate, design, optimize and
develop manufacturing and supporting processes.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Kimberly
Clark staff, plants and vendors/contractors.
- Assist in the development of others within the area of the

- Candidates must possess a bachelors or advanced degree in
Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an
ABET accredited College or University.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety of technical or
operational assignments.
- Strong knowledge and background in control of high speed
converting processes and equipment, and demonstrated ability to
translate knowledge into execution of process and capacity
improvements.
- Experience with Robotic systems.
- Experience with industrial control programming.
- Experience with HMI systems.
- Experience with the use of Lean tools including VSMs, SMED,
Kaizens, etc.
- Experience working with external technical service providers
and suppliers.
- Project Management
- Database systems query and interface
- Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic and vacuum systems
- Experience in high speed manufacturingPreferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff
assignments, including maintenance and operations.
- Demonstrated ability of writing and presenting updates to
leadership.
- Experience with the preparation of appropriation documents
including appropriation write-ups, appropriation estimates, asset
detailing, asset write-offs, etc.
- Experience reading and interpreting CFIs.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with SAP modules including DTR and PAC510.
- Experience with the Coform manufacturing process and Wipes
Converting process.
- Experience with programming, calibrating, operating, and
maintaining Robotic systems.
- Experience with industrial control programming including motion
applications.
- Database systems query and interface including MES systems
- Demonstrated continuing self-development.
- Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in
Electrical Engineering.
- A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to
achieve project results within required timeframes.
