We are currently seeking a Diagnostic Automotive Technician who will play a crucial role in our organization. As a Diagnostic Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include performing highly skilled mechanical work for the maintenance and repair of automotive and related equipment. This involves analyzing and diagnosing complex maintenance defects, conducting inspections on vehicles and equipment, as well as performing road tests on both new and repaired vehicles. Additionally, you will operate specialized equipment commonly used in the automotive repair industry and machine shops. Here's what you'll be accomplishing in this role: Diagnostics and testing Installation and connection of various electric wiring systems Functional tests of electrical systems Correcting or adjusting any identified problems Performing electrical panel and miscellaneous electrical component installations based on engineering specifications and conducting quality checks on the work performed Reading and understanding schematics, discussing vehicle issues with the service writer or service manager, and providing repair recommendations along with parts lists and required labor hours Identifying all items needing attention, including maintenance, safety, or other concerns Ensuring complete and accurate under-car, under-hood, and preventive maintenance inspections and reports Using proper equipment and safety procedures to raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks or lifts to access mechanical units bolted to the underside of the vehicle Troubleshooting problems related to the work performed To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: High school diploma or GED General automotive maintenance experience Experience working with brake and steering systems Solid electrical and/or automotive wiring experience Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems Strong background in electronic troubleshooting and repair Strong mechanical problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment What we offer: Work/Life Balance - Regular business hours from 8-5, Monday to Friday, with no late nights or weekends Competitive Compensation Packages Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance plans Flexible Spending Account(s) 8 paid holidays, Personal Time Off, Social Responsibility Time Employer Paid Benefits such as Tuition Reimbursement Program, Employee Assistance Program, Life and Disability insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan An incredibly rewarding experience in a team-centered environment We highly encourage Military Veterans to apply, and we embrace diversity, valuing each individual's unique contribution to the organization.
