The Production Lead oversees the assembly, testing, and quality
assurance of fire hoses, ensuring efficient and safe operations in
the hose assembly and test area. This role requires active
participation in daily tasks alongside team members, while also
providing leadership, training, and managing workflow.
Responsibilities Train new assemblers and testers, assigning tasks
based on skill sets to optimize productivity. Lead the assembly of
hoses, including cutting, fitting, and coupling attachment. Ensure
proper crimping, clamping, and securing of hose components. Operate
hose assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct pressure
testing, leak detection, and performance inspections on all
assembled hoses. Maintain detailed records of test results and
report any defects or non-conformance issues. Ensure all hoses meet
internal quality standards and NFPA Standards. Provide hands-on
training and mentorship to assembly and testing team members.
Assign tasks based on skill levels and production priorities.
Monitor workflow and ensure production goals are met efficiently.
Assist in troubleshooting assembly or testing challenges. Ensure
all work is performed in compliance with company policies and
safety regulations. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of
tools and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free
work environment. Essential Skills Experience in operation,
materials management, and supply chain management. Additional
Skills & Qualifications Ability to lead and train a team in an
assembly environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to

is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.
Full-Time employees are eligible for medical, dental and vision
benefits on the first of the month after 30 days of employment. KOA
offers dental and vision insurance free of charge with the medical
election. Extremely low cost premiums paid Life Insurance: KOA pays
one times the employees’ base salary in the event of an employee's
death. Employees have the opportunity to purchase additional life
