Job Description:
You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Precision
Strike Missile (PrSM) Enhanced Operational Capability (EOC) team.
Our team supports the design, production and sustainment of the
PrSM missile and its pod integration lines, ensuring that
mechanical solutions meet performance, cost and schedule goals
across a high rate manufacturing environment. What You Will Be
Doing As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will serve as the
primary mechanical interface between the Camden production floor
and the central engineering team in Dallas. You will resolve part
discrepancies, drive MRBE actions, and collaborate with a diverse
set of engineers, suppliers and operations personnel to keep the
missile assembly line moving efficiently. Your responsibilities
will include: • Manipulating 3 D CREO models, interpreting drawings
and GD&T, and performing tolerance analyses to support part
design and production. • Acting as the first line of defense for
part discrepancies and design related production issues, tracking
and responding to MRBE quality notifications and supplier deviation
waivers. • Providing day to day production support by coordinating
with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production Planning and
Global Supply Chain teams. • Communicating technical status, risks
and corrective actions clearly and proactively to a broad
stakeholder audience. • Updating and maintaining configuration
control and part data in Apriso (or comparable LM tools) and
ensuring data accuracy across the supply chain. • Developing and
releasing mechanical design changes, release packages and
documentation that meet missile design standards. • Supporting root
cause investigations and corrective action plans for production
line issues. • Facilitating supplier interactions, conducting
technical reviews and ensuring that supplier provided parts meet
mechanical specifications. • Traveling occasionally to supplier
sites or other program locations to validate parts and resolve

Camden. Discover more about our Camden, Arkansas location. MUST BE
A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that
requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to
obtain a secret clearance. A Secret clearance with Investigation or
CV date within 5 years is required to start. Basic Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 5
years of relevant experience. Proficient in Computer Aided Design
(CREO or Solid Works). Experienced with Microsoft Office.
Experience with GD&T. Active secret security clearance. Desired
skills Willingness to occasionally travel. Leadership experience,
leading tasking and decision making over small or large teams.
Experience with hardware build, integration and testing Prior

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This
position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US
Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range
for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York
(excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or
Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending

The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
