As our company responds to COVID-19, the safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers, partners and communities is our top priority."*** This position can be located remotely anywhere within the company footprintAbout the Role:The Sr. Project Manager Process Development & Program Management--will be responsible for leading and owning the full life cycle of development projects from project initiation through planning, execution and closing process. Position will work across multiple business teams within the company (e.g. IT, Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.). In addition to working with external vendors, executive management and business users. Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time and be able to travel. Requires prior experience in managing projects, mergers/integrations, conversions, and/or IT development projects, preferably within the wireline telecommunications industry.What You'll Do: * Facilitate and assist Agile Scrum and/or Waterfall projects including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc...* Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow; Protect the Team from External Interference* Meet with sub-plan owners to document requirements and manage scope* Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines* Assist with regression testing, coordinate UAT and product releases* Support and educate Product Owners and maintaining the product backlog* Work with subplan owners to define and manage project plans and drive data gathering and gap identification/resolution.* Track project risks and issues and drive risk/issue mitigation and/or resolution* Oversee project budget and change control.* Manage relationship with Business Owners and Project Sponsors* May manage third party vendor relationships* You will report to the Director - Project ManagementQualificationsMinimum Requirements:College degree in a Technical or related field and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 9 years professional level related Technical experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.Job Category: Project ManagementLocations: US-Arkansas-Little Rock\EEO Statement:Windstream is an equal opportunity employer.
