Vice President, Human Resources, LITTLE ROCK General Information Job Title: Vice President, Human Resources Location: 8901 CARTI WAY LITTLE ROCK, AR, 72205 United States Employee Type: Exempt Full Time Job Category: Non-Clinical Description This position reports to CARTI's President and CEO and will be the designer and coach of all human resource policies and practices across the organization to create a strong, healthy, vibrant and engaging workforce. This position leads the human resources department that serves approximately 700 team members at multiple locations across the state. Specific areas of responsibility include team member engagement, compensation, benefit administration, team member relations, guiding leaders in the team member development process, workforce inclusion and diversity, recruitment, HR budgetary management, development of policies and procedures, and oversight of all aspects of human resource department operations. Requirements Talent Management 1. Partner with leaders to anticipate staffing and capability requirements, to identify strategically important hires and aid CARTI leaders in the development of high-performing teams 2. Develop systems to build a high-quality talent recruitment and development pipeline 3. Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with organizational leadership 4. Build and implement training, development and mentorship programs to retain, inspire and build managers and leaders at all levels 5. Develop programs that support recruitment and retention of top-tier talent that motivate and reward performance 6. Monitors healthcare market conditions and recruitment patterns that affect recruitment and retention efforts and develop appropriate strategies and systems-- 1. Take ownership of all aspects of operations for the department to ensure a high-performing, capable, and respected Human Resource team who effectively interacts with leaders and team members daily 2. Set the example for the Human Resource team by living out the CARTI values 3. Utilize Human Resource team to work collaboratively and regularly with CARTI leaders to --resolve complex issues 4. Identify team member strengths as well as development opportunities and then engage in that development process to maximize overall team performance 5. Appropriately lean into performance issues within department-- 6. Assist in budget preparation, review, and expense management for department 7. Oversee new team member orientation process 8. Oversee and lead CARTI benefits program and administration of its program Organization Support 1. Gain and maintain a strong understanding of Vision, Values, and day to day operations of CARTI 2. Maintain an understanding of all job positions and interrelated system functions that support each CARTI department and across regions 3. Maintain an active working knowledge of all labor laws and be able to advise CARTI leadership as appropriate 4. Maintain strong understanding of team member benefits and advise CARTI leadership regularly on enhancement opportunities 5. Maintain presence of an accessible, approachable and capable resource to team members and leaders throughout the organization - establishing and maintaining strong relationships to identify and respond to business needs 6. Effectively communicating business priorities, plans and strategies utilizing a combination of both data and on-the-ground visible engagement with leaders and team members 7. Effectively advising on people strategies to support an efficient and high-performance team operating in a high-growth and fast-paced environment 8. Develop and lead an innovative Human Resource function, proactively engaging in both short and long-range planning while utilizing creative human resource strategies 9. Checks in with the President & CEO as needed to report any concerns/solutions to issues as needed. Summary EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE and REGISTRATION:-- 1. Masters degree or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field.-- 2. SHRM- SCP or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES: 1. Must have eight (8) years or more experience as a human resource leader including supervisory experience 2. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.-- 3. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. 4. Must interact and communicate both verbally and in written form. 5. Must interact and exchange information regarding patients with physicians and other departmental personnel, and outside agencies on a frequent basis while respecting the confidentiality of patient information.-- 6. Ability to use tact and diplomacy in making recommendations, reporting errors or problems, securing information or discussing patient treatments when dealing with physicians on a frequent basis.         • Natural ability to build a strong network of relationships across the system, quickly building credibility and gaining the trust and confidence;
