Job Description:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking an MD for the position of Division Director for the Gynecology Oncology Division. The division currently consists of three full-time GOG-affiliated faculty members and three dedicated APRNs who work closely with the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. The Institute is Arkansas' only academic cancer treatment and research facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in interfacing with the Cancer Service Line and the Department of OB/GYN. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, dynamic individual who has a national reputation and experience working through and leading others through change and growth initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will have the following professional qualifications and personal characteristics:
    • Must be board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecology Oncology, with credentials to merit an academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
    • Possess a strong interest and knowledge in research and clinical trials, in addition to becoming a leader in translational research.
    • Ability and motivation to work collaboratively with colleagues across UAMS and its partners.Personal Characteristics
