We achieve this in partnership with American Express Technology, Business and Strategic Partners with a focus on issue detection, isolation, communication, and rapid remediation of major incidents.Objectives:

  • Deliver premier Bridge Management services for major incidents, supporting all applications, platforms, and infrastructure for production and non-production environments
  • Reduce restoration time and Business Capability impacts, with a shift towards more pro-active bridge activities
  • Steer and deliver communications at all levels within Technology and business to ensure transparency, to coordinate critical issues and resolution, to facilitate decision-making, and to build trust.Key responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the planning, coordination, and status reporting of key initiatives within the team using Agile Methodologies to plan, collaborate, and provide status reporting
    • Understand requirements that need engineering / development support, and act as a liaison between the Operations and Development teams to deliver valuable improvements and new tools and resources for team use
    • Develops project plans and ensures that the scope and approach are fully understood by all partners
    • Identifies and supervises key project achievements
    • Ensures all systems of record for project reporting are kept current, and directs and monitors work efforts on a regular basis
    • Understand the EMIM operations and be able to speak to its processes, and procedures
    • Build presentations and documents and communicate these to a wide-ranging audienceEducation & Experience:
      • Bachelors Degree in related field required
