Work Location:--- Remote - U.S.Position:Clinical consultants have
at least 15 years experience in healthcare including managed care
and provider organizations. We offer a full spectrum of consulting
services that range from care management system implementations to
quality improvement and accreditation initiatives. We are a "roll
up our sleeves" kind of practice, working with our customers to
innovate, solve problems, and improve performance by bringing the
right expertise and knowledge to their organization.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Consulting Managers advise clients, and manage client and
internal projects, and deliver consulting level deliverables
+ Business development by identify sales opportunities with new
clients and Identify additional opportunities in existing
clients
+ Work directly with a V.P. to develop their service line or focus
area from a business development, staffing, and methodology
perspective
+ Responsible for Service delivery
+ Participate as needed, in Change Healthcare Company planning and
management meetings
+ Sr. level consultants manage client related projects Client
Management to include:
+ Develop/manage relationship with senior management
+ Product monthly status reports
+ Participate in the sales process (SOW, resource requests, project
budget and other documents as needed)
+ Internal Meetings - participate in management meetings and
company calls and meetings
+ Participate as needed, in service line or focus area bus
development and methodology -Focus on a broad set of service or
focus areas
+ May work as a Sr PM, PD, Sr BA, Sr TA dependent on projects.
Requirements: Clinician (RN, BSN is preferred; MSW meeting job
description requirements will also be considered.) Minimum of 5-10
years experience in medical management (Payer and /or Provider).
Experience providing clinical consulting is a plus. Knowledge and
experience in working with Medicare and Medicaid is required;
specific familiarity with Medi-Cal and Medicaid programs in DE, PA,
FL or TX is preferred. Familiarity with system configuration and
implementation of care management applications is essential.
Knowledge of interfaces with core claims systems such as QNXT,
Facets, HealthEdge or Epic is a key consideration. Preferred
Qualifications:
+ Recent experience (3+ years) providing clinical consulting.
+ Knowledge and experience in working with Medicare and Medicaid is
required
+ Familiarity with system configuration and implementation of care
management applications (Epic/Tapestry/Healthy Planet, ZeOmega,
Clinical Care Advance, Guiding Care, Essette, MD Flow or similar
medical management platform is essential.
+ Knowledge of core claims systems such as QNXT, Facets, HealthEdge
or Epic and how to configure their interfaces with care management
applications is a key consideration.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in care management, clinical quality,
HEDIS, CAHPS knowledge and expertise.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:--- General office
demandsTravel:--- Travel to client sites varies by customer
expectations. Prior to COVID19, role required up to 80% travel.
Post COVID19, many of the managed care customers are remote and are
requiring 0-25% onsite time.--- Employees in roles that require
travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or
be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses
