This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits and PTO. Salary is based on experience.About the Role:As DON, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing department. Youll work with our Administrator, Medical Director, and nursing team to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a supportive, compliant environment.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Administration:Manage and coordinate all nursing services.Develop and enforce policies and procedures.Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training.Participate in care planning and discharge processes.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Prepare reports and assist with audits or surveys.Clinical Oversight:Conduct nursing assessments and patient rounds.Review physician orders, care plans, and progress notes.Supervise clinical staff and promote best practices in resident care.Provide direct nursing care as needed.Ensure timely communication with residents and families.What Were Looking For:Current RN license (required).Prior DON or nursing leadership experience (preferred).Strong communication and organizational skills.A team-focused mindset with a commitment to quality care.Why The Springs of Brinkley?Were a supportive, resident-focused team that values our staff.
