The Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Critical Care at the University of Arkansas has multiple openings for BE/BC Anesthesiologists. There are currently needs in CV ICU, Neuro ICU and a unique opportunity for a Donor ICU.
The Department of Anesthesiology provides comprehensive anesthesia care for patients in theUAMS Medical Center,Arkansas Childrens Hospital, and theJohn L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital.UAMS is Arkansas only medical sciences university. We educate the next generation of anesthesiologists through our programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.
The ICU positions are typically a 50/50 split between ICU and OR with 9 weeks of ICU service and 92 weekday OR shifts per year. This allows for approximately 24 weeks in which you are not on service.
