Business Development Account Director (Clinical Research) Dayton, OH, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1694 Title: Account Director Location: - -ERG Corporate*remote role*Job Description:ERG is a leading U.S. based, privately held, independent clinical research site company, and provider of clinical development services with an expertise in early and late stage neuroscience drug development. With 21 wholly owned clinical sites and 5 affiliated sites, we conduct in-patient and out-patient phase I-IV clinical research studies. ERG has 340+ in-patient beds, a large and growing database of patients suffering from mental illness, neurological disorders, sleep disorders, addictions, acute and chronic pain, metabolic disorders and other illnesses as well as normal healthy volunteers who participate in trials for the advancement of medicine. With access to over 32 million patients/subjects and 5000 + completed trials, ERG continues to grow its capabilities and expand into indications where there are tremendous unmet medical needs in the United States and globally. -The Account Director is responsible for the development of new business opportunities for all service areas under the ERG umbrella. The Senior Account Director's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing business from emerging, developing, and established companies with existing clients and establishing new client relationships. -Responsibilities:

  • Engage assigned ERG clients for new opportunities within the ERG key therapeutic areas of focus -
  • Identify new leads, develop and implement strategies.
  • Achieve annual sales goals to support company sales revenue targets.
  • Ability to provide strong client management to continue to foster and expand relationships. -
  • Manage and develop presentations, RFI, RFP, and budgets for client submission.
  • Develop a knowledge-based understanding for all service offerings under the ERG umbrella..
  • -Maintaining CTMS of sales records.
  • -Conduct continuous market research to to be informed about industry knowledge and trends as well as potential o new clients.
  • Ability to work and communicate across all departments within ERG.
  • -Ability to travel for business purposes. attend conferences and client visits throughout the year. -
  • Fulfill other duties as required.Skills and Qualifications:
    • Education and experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, or health sciences.
    • Advance degree considered to be an asset (e.g., MBA, Master's, Ph.D.)
    • Minimum 5 years of Industry experience in selling clinical development services -
    • Requirements
    • Knowledgeable in medical terminology -
    • Excellent relationship building ability with effective listening, oral and written communication and negotiating skills.
    • Experienced and proficient with CTMS system - preferably Salesforce.
    • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
    • Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as proprietary applications unique to the clinical research industry)
    • Ability to travel, attend meetings and conferences.
