The Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Critical Care at the University of Arkansas has multiple openings for BE/BC Anesthesiologists. There are currently needs in CV ICU, Neuro ICU and a unique opportunity for a Donor ICU.
The Department of Anesthesiology provides comprehensive anesthesia care for patients in the -UAMS Medical Center, -Arkansas Children's Hospital, and the -John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. -UAMS is Arkansas' only medical sciences university. We educate the next generation of anesthesiologists through our programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.
The ICU positions are typically a 50/50 split between ICU and OR with 9 weeks of ICU service and 92 weekday OR shifts per year. This allows for approximately 24 weeks in which you are not on service.
