Locums - Little Rock, Arkansas, Pulmonary Critical Care Job

• Clinical Role:

  • Coverage needed: July 7/3-7/9 and 7/31-8/6
  • Duties: Required to be available 8:00 a.m. - 5, Monday - Sunday, rounding in ICUs (CVICU, MICU, and CCU). Rounding on critically ill patients, management of ventilators, and management of shock
  • Also take phone calls from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. remotely with the rare need to return to the hospital
  • There is CV Surgery support 24/7 with ECMO management done by them
  • Required Procedures: Bronchoscopy
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: Weekday APRN support in CVICU, MICU, and CCU. APRN support on the weekend for CVICU
  • No direct admissions on the service, consulting work only
  • Anticipated census would be approximately 20 - 30 patients
  • Board Certification - Board Certified
  • State License - Required
  • Critical Care Fellowship - Required, critical care fellowships only
  • Other Certifications - ACLS, BLS
