Job Description:
Job Description Responsibilities The Opportunity: - Full time
position with a Monday - Friday day time schedule, servicing a
rural family medicine clinic. - Provides direct, comprehensive,
preventative, and therapeutic healthcare to patients and families.
- Works under the supervision and direction of the Collaborative
Practice Physician. - Performs patient assessments, diagnoses, and
treatments. - Prescribes medications as needed. - Provides
counseling and instruction to patients and families. - Adheres to
Nurse Practitioner Protocols and all regulations governing RNPs. -
Provides healthcare services for which the APN is educationally
prepared and competent. - Maintains competence in areas of
practice. Qualifications Requirements: - Current RNP and/or APN
licensure in Arkansas. Documentation compliant with the State
Nursing Board of satisfactory completion of a nurse practitioner
educational program and completion of preceptorship. - Eligibility
for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration. - Experience
in APN/RNP patient care preferred. - Preferred qualifications
includes: OccMed, ER or Urgent Care experience Overview
