Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Benton, Arkansas (AR). Starting as soon as January 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role: 24 hour in-house call shifts 1-2 patients/shifts 720 deliveries/year Required skills: Low Risk Pregnancy, High Risk Pregnancy FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds – Performance of, interpretation, Level 1/Screening (viability), Level 2/Targeted (anatomic) Routine delivery: Vaginal, Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC’s, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology – Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only- tubal ligation, LOA’s chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) – ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role: AR state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand Board certified OBGYN AR State DEA BLS, PALS and Fetal Monitoring Certs Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption Flu Shot Benefits: Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
