Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - PICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts on 3A PICU unit /n• May occasionally float to NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU as needed /n• Floating required within ICU cluster (NICE, PICU, Burn PICU, IMCU) with travelers first to float /n• Every other weekend schedule required with holidays as needed /n• No on-call responsibilities /n• Manager/scheduler driven schedule /n• Nurse/patient ratios: PICU 1:1-2, IMCU 1:3-4 /n• Must have 3 years recent PICU experience and prior travel experience (1-2 assignments) /n• Two years of clinical experience in specialty required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS /n• Must pass fit test (no facial hair unless for religious beliefs) /n• Must test negative for nicotine /n• Recent EPIC EMR experience required /n• Active Arkansas or Compact nursing license required /n• Expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing /n• ACH dress code must be followed /n• Work with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication system with bar code scanning /n• Care for patients with respiratory distress, CRRT, ECMO, post arrest, trauma, neuro conditions, surgical post-ops, burns, and DKA /n• Work alongside residents, fellows, attending MDs, and advanced practice providers /n• CNA/PCT assistance available with 1-2 PCTs per shift /n/n Facility: /n This is a 359-bed Level 1 trauma teaching hospital specializing in pediatric care. The facility features a 26-bed PICU and 13-bed IMCU with comprehensive pediatric services including specialized units for various pediatric conditions. The hospital maintains advanced medical technology and equipment including ECMO capabilities, transport systems, and various ventilator support systems.
