Date: 1/30/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered
Nurse (Med Surg) – Virginia Start Date: January 30, 2026 Location:
Danville, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: Nights, rotating schedule of 3 days (Friday,
Saturday, Sunday) one week, then 4 days (Thursday, Friday,
Saturday, Sunday) the following week. 36/48 hour rotation.
Orientation January 30, 2026, with floor assignment beginning
February 1, 2026. Highlights: 42-bed facility with 30
medical/surgical beds and 12 behavioral health beds Level IV trauma
center with diverse patient acuity Charge nurse responsibilities
with supportive staffing structure including ward clerks, aides,
and LPNs Manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 on the med/surg
unit EMR system: CPSI Collaborative team environment with excellent
support staff Requirements: Active RN license in Virginia or
compact state license Previous charge nurse experience required
Medical/surgical nursing experience Comfort and confidence in
assuming charge responsibilities BLS certification required; ACLS
