working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Mountain
Home, Arkansas, 72653! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in
PCU, ICU, or Step Down License: Current RN License in good standing
Certifications: BLS required. ACLS within the first year of
employment. Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and communicate
effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Description:
Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing
unit. Lead within the nursing team. Utilize the nursing process to
assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care
for patients. Collaborate with all members of the health care team.
Focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for
the patient population and their families. Physical demands include
the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Must
be able to stand and walk, bend, squat, and twist for up to or
exceeding 8 to 12 hours during shifts. Occasionally requires
lifting of 50 pounds or more. Must be able to handle critical and
highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Requires
a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity to respond to critical
changing patient situations. May have exposure to inside
environmental conditions and infectious diseases. Work environment
includes patient rooms, nursing unit, and hospital setting.
Position deemed safety sensitive. Must be able to respond quickly
in emergency situations. Basic knowledge in various nursing skills
such as patient monitoring and care of specific medical conditions
is required. Candidates must have experience in managing cardiac
drips and care of ventilated patients. The work will require
functioning around diverse patient populations and conditions. 5
