Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Nuclear
Medicine Tech at CHI St Vincent, you will help capture usable
diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately
diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. Every day you will
collaborate with the Imaging team as well as other
multi-disciplinary teams on the nursing units, and you play a huge
role in the diagnosis of illness and patient care. A Nuclear
Medicine Technologist is a direct care provider who can work in a
fast paced, high volume patient care environment. You are
efficient, compassionate, and absolutely dedicated to providing
excellent care. In this role, you will perform a variety of scans
of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. You will
operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images that measure
concentration of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas. You
are dedicated to patient safety and you always use precision and
practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
To be successful in this role, you have equal parts technical
knowledge in all aspects of your job, but you also show compassion
to those that trust themselves in our care. - Prepares stock
solutions of radiopharmaceuticals and materials; calculates and
administers doses under the direct supervision of a Radiologist -
Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for
administration to patients; formulate radiopharmaceutical materials
from pre-prepared kits. Calibrate instruments and review
calibration date to detect trends indicating instrument
malfunction. Calculate data to include results of patient’s studies
and radioactive decay. - Performs diagnostic exams on patients as
prescribed by physician. - Uses scanners or scintillation cameras
for detection of radiation emitted to produce image of organ on
photographic film. We are offering up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus in

eligibility requirements. Job Requirements - Registered
Radiographic Technologist, certified by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - ASCP or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine
Technology, or registry eligible - Licensure to practice in the
State of Arkansas - Bachelor's Degree required - No previous
experience is required, new graduates are welcome to apply Where
