Job Description We’re looking for a Physical Therapist who values movement, strength, and long-term outcomes just as much as clinical excellence. This role delivers 1:1, individualized care in a fitness-focused environment where rehab and performance work together. What You’ll Do Patient Care & Treatment Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify movement limitations, functional deficits, and patient goals Design and deliver individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and fitness-based interventions Provide 1:1, patient-centered care focused on movement quality, function, and long-term wellness Progress patients through strength, mobility, and functional movement–based rehab programs Educate patients on self-management, injury prevention, and habits that support recovery and performance Fitness Integration Collaborate with coaches or trainers to ensure a smooth transition from rehab to fitness or sport Design return-to-sport or return-to-fitness plans aligned with patient goals Participate in or lead small-group performance or mobility classes as needed Clinic Operations Document evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, and discharge summaries in WebPT Maintain accurate scheduling and communication through Mindbody Support a clean, organized treatment environment that reflects our fitness-forward culture Communicate clearly with patients regarding scheduling, care plans, and billing or insurance questions Schedule & Flexibility Physical Therapists manage their availability within the Mindbody system. This role requires maintaining consistent, predictable availability for patient care while communicating schedule updates and planned absences with clinic staff in advance. What We’re Looking For Required Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program Active North Dakota PT license or eligibility for licensure Dry needling certification (or willingness to obtain within first year) Current CPR/AED certification Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population Self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable working within a small team Preferred Background or strong interest in orthopedics, sports rehab, strength & conditioning, or fitness-based therapy Experience working in a gym or performance-focused environment What We Offer Dedicated 1:1 treatment sessions with time to deliver high-quality care A collaborative, close-knit team centered on movement, wellness, and patient success Access to a full-service fitness facility for rehab and training integration Opportunities to develop performance programs or specialty offerings Flexible scheduling and support for professional development Why Proximal50?
