Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30-06:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry nursing - Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment - Leadership skills to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential. The role includes delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff. Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care is required.
