Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Mountain Home, AR Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights Start Date: ASAP About the Position Hospitalist Pediatric Physician Join our dedicated team as a Hospitalist Pediatric Physician and make a meaningful impact by providing critical care to our young patients. Your expertise will directly contribute to the health and well-being of pediatric patients during weekend coverage, supporting an essential hospital service. Required Skills: Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics Proficiency in infant intubation, line placement, and stabilization techniques Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes from remote locations Experience in newborn nursery, ER, and inpatient pediatric care Ability to round daily in inpatient units and nursery Excellent communication and decision-making skills Nice to Have Skills: Previous hospitalist experience Comfort with handling small inpatient volumes Skilled in managing neonatal emergencies, including stabilization and shipping Additional certifications in life support or pediatric advanced life support (PALS) Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Recent graduates or early-career physicians encouraged to apply Board-certified or Board-eligible in Pediatrics Active or soon-to-be licensed in Arkansas or willing to obtain licensure quickly Other Requirements: Willingness to start within 2-3 months Flexibility to work 2x24-hour night shifts (19:00 - 18:59) Ability to provide case logs for rapid credentialing process Must be able to work independently, managing newborn nursery, ER, and inpatient pediatric care during weekends This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $2613.00, with benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick time, and reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification expenses.
