we serve. More about our team Join our team in a 29-bed Behavioral
Health unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients
alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs,
administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative
environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. A
Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role: - Provides direct
patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance
with applicable scope and standards of practice. - Performs plan of
care intervention, including medication administration, specimen
collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care
treatment. - Documents patient care given. - Monitors, records, and
communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team,
physician, patient, and family. - Assists patients with performing
activities of daily living, including personal hygiene,
elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. - Collaborates as needed
across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient
transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support
needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and
provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,
condition, and circumstances. - Works as an advocate for the
physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Why join us We

Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred. - Required
Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and
the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work
in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. -
Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of
Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with
the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire. More
