This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized GI services, including endoscopies and evaluations, while working with a dedicated support staff in a leading medical facility. Your expertise will be vital in managing inpatient cases and contributing to excellent health outcomes for adult and adolescent patients. Required Skills: Valid Arkansas medical license DEA certification Proven experience in gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopies and management of GI bleeding Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in inpatient hospital settings Advanced certifications in gastroenterology or related specialties Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of gastroenterology practice experience Previous inpatient hospital work preferred Other Requirements: Must be local to Arkansas or willing to do scheduled shifts Availability for call coverage from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, with some inpatient rounding and one weekend per month Night shift commitment (two 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Willing to license in Arkansas; no additional licensing support provided Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $3,120.00.
