Reporting to the Program Director, this is a full-time, permanent position offering a structured Monday Friday schedule in a collaborative and professionally rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient needs, functional status, and treatment goals Design and implement individualised, medically prescribed physical therapy programmes to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent re-injury Deliver evidence-based treatment plans using techniques appropriate to each patient's age, condition, and capabilities Administer therapeutic modalities including moist heat, ultrasound, ultraviolet and infrared light, and other physical agents Evaluate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommend modifications to optimise function and comfort Educate patients and families on injury prevention, ergonomics, home exercise programmes, and long-term wellness strategies Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students delegating tasks appropriately and maintaining quality standards Set measurable treatment goals; document progress accurately and adjust care plans as clinical status evolves Must-Have Requirements Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy programme (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) Active Physical Therapist licence in the State of Arkansas (or eligibility for endorsement) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills; ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and respond decisively under pressure Skills & Competencies Proficiency in patient assessment, goal-setting, and outcome measurement across a varied caseload Solid knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and evidence-based modalities Effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members Competency in clinical documentation and EMR systems Strong supervisory and mentoring skills for support staff and students Commitment to professional development and continuing education in physical therapy Benefits & Compensation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Paid Time Off Short & Long-Term Disability Employee Wellness Programs Professional Development Selection Process Stage 1: Screening interview with recruiter Stage 2: Interview with Program Director Apply now: | Reference Job ID: q2kt1nrehoif
