contribute A PACU RN who excels in this role: - Performs duties as
assigned and requested. - Completes focused patient assessments and
reassessments based on patient's condition, procedures,
medications, and treatments. - Adequately assesses and reassesses
pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. - Provides
patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages
and with specific needs. - Demonstrates knowledge of medications
and ensures correct administration following the six rights to
minimize medication errors. - Assists physicians with procedures
and provides services requiring technical and manual skills. -
Performs treatments and delivers care within licensure scope. -
Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an
environment that reduces the likelihood of errors. - Operates and
manages equipment safely and correctly. - Educates patients and
families on disease processes and recovery expectations. -
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. -
Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as
needed. - Maintains regular and reliable attendance. - Performs

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license
and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing
school. Additional requirements include: - Certifications: AHA
Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
within one year of hire. - Experience: One-year previous experience
preferred - Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN
license. - Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred. -
