Hospitalist Medical Director opening in ARLocated in Little Rock, ARFull-time; Permanent positionBE/BC5-10 years as a practicing hospitalist in a large tertiary hospital or systemHospitalist leadership experience is preferredOverviewProvide leadership for the hospitalist teams while balancing administrative leadership with clinical care to achieve operational efficiency40-50% protected administrative timeWork as a practicing hospitalist 50-60% of the timeDevelop and implement the strategic vision for the System hospitalist program and at each hospital that aligns with the System and Hospital Strategy for hospitalist careClinical time at each of our largest hospitals (Little Rock, North Little Rock and Conway) to gain insight regarding each setting and teamWork with team leaders at each hospital to oversee daily operations and staffing to ensure high quality of care and efficient patient throughputServe as first line interaction for corrective communication and counseling with team membersWork with Hospital CMOs, CNOs, Quality and Safety teams and Administration to promote multidisciplinary, team focused patient careMake recommendations for team staffing as indicated.Participate in interviews and recruitment of potential additions to the team(s)About Little RockLittle Rock is located in Central Arkansas and has much to offer in the way of outdoor activities as well as cultural experiences.
