Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The Table Games Dual Rate Floor Supervisor shall be responsible for the efficient operation of all Table Games in their assigned section. All Table Games Dual Rate Floor Supervisor must adhere to the Table Games Department policies and procedure. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Essential JOB Functions and Responsibilities Monitors controls designed to assure full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. Maintain a continuous inspection of cards and Gaming equipment while ensuring the security of the assigned Table Games at all times. Shall assist in monitoring the payouts and procedures on the table games to ensure the integrity of the games while on duty. Should ensure that organizational and regulatory policies and procedures are understood and adhered to. Shall handle customer and employee disputes that may arise and settle disputes in a manner that expresses excellent customer service as well as ensuring that the best interest of the operation is considered at all times. Ensure accuracy for assigned tables in monetary transactions and accounting. Shall be responsible for the accountability of player ratings and chips for each designated section by maintaining proper records. Shall make table fills/credits as needed. Shall monitor cash and chip transactions between dealers and patrons. Should monitor all unusual activity between dealers and patrons for possible collusion and relay all such information, to direct Supervisor and Manager in a timely manner. Shall communicate all suspicious play of all patrons who are participating in defrauding SCR in a timely manner. Shall assist the Pit Supervisor in identifying patrons who are causing a disturbance in the operation of assigned games. Must comply with all Title 31 requirements. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback. Monitor employee performance and make recommendations to Pit Supervisor in order to assist the Table Games Department with recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, discipline, terminations and other personnel related issues. Utilize effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is passed along to incoming and outgoing Supervisors. Ensure that the Table Games Department presents a professional and clean environment for both employees and guests. Communicate regularly with employees and keep them informed on all casino events and activities. Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and always communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with all team members. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Attend all necessary training and meetings as warranted. Assist in other projects, as directed. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a daily/weekly schedule. At all times acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Saracen Casino Resort and the Table Games Department. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer two years of dealing or Table Games Supervisor experience in three games (BJ, MB, and All Carnival games). Applicants must have the ability to become proficient in all games offered in the table games department and any new games added. Successful candidates must be experienced, results oriented, and hands-on professional. Must demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility to the customers and employees. Must possess ability to instill a sense of pride and provide leadership with all subordinates. Must possess excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate all irregularities to their direct Manager/Supervisor on a consistent basis as it pertains to their Gaming section. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with all customers and employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening. Availability: Due to the nature of casino business demand patterns, this position will regularly include early morning, evening, weekend shifts and holidays as assigned work schedules including training and/or meetings. Respond to visual and oral cues. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate keen observation skills to identify potential issues or opportunities. Ability to pay close attention to detail and accurately report observations. Strong situational awareness to quickly assess and respond to changing environments. Able to work in a fast-paced stressful environment. Able to lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds. Able to stand for prolonged periods (approx. 2 to 3 hours). Able to bend, reach, twist, and grip items while working at assigned table. Operate in a mentally and physically stressful situation. Manual Dexterity: a high level of hand-eye coordination and the ability to use your hands skillfully to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small objects with precision, often involving repetitive movements and fine motor skills. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position under applicable laws and regulations. The role requires heightened awareness and the ability to perform job duties safely and effectively, as it involves tasks that could impact the health and safety of employees, guests, and the public. As such, employees in this role may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
