Human Resources GeneralistLittle Rock, AR, USA -Arkansas Electric

HR Generalist (Recruitment) will primarily serve as a recruiter for
craft and trade, exempt and nonexempt positions. They will be
responsible for attending job fairs, sourcing candidates,
coordinating interviews, conducting background checks and
facilitating the completion of new hire paperwork. This position
will also coordinate the on-boarding of new employees, support drug
testing requirement and support the college internship program.
They will also assist in the execution of corporate and HR programs
and processes. Provides day-to-day HR administrative support.
Manages and is responsible for select HR processes.
Responsibilities:
Serve primarily as a recruiter for craft and trade, technical,
exempt and nonexempt positions to include sourcing, candidate
screening, interview coordination and completion of background
checks.Coordinates participation in career fairs (college and high
school level).Identifies and develops relationships for recruiting
sources of technical talent.Assists in the further implementation
and development of ATS.Provides support for the college internship
program.Coordinates, updates and maintains the employee onboarding
program.Proactively communicates to and works with departmental
managers to resolve employee concerns and issues. Proactive
identification of administrative needs occurs on a routine
basis.Coordinates required drug and alcohol screening
compliance.Develops and coordinates the delivery of employee
events.Provides HR project support as needed.Continually evaluate
and recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures to meet
the needs of the HR department.Handles stress effectively and works
well with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.Strong interpersonal skills: listening
and communication.Effective communication and influencing skills,
both written and oral, with the ability to share information and
ideas clearly and concisely with a range of audiences.Capacity to
develop and maintain strong professional relationships across the
organization and to work collaboratively with colleagues.Ability to
establish the appropriate priorities and work with a sense of
urgency. A strong attention to detail and accuracy with a superior
work ethic.Resourceful and able to work independently.Ability to
maintain confidential information and exercise discretion and
tact.Extremely detailed, analytical and accuracy oriented. -Minimum
Experience RequiredHuman Resources Coordinator: (No Exp.
required)Human Resources Generalist: (3+ years of
experience)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in business
administration or related field, plus at least 3 years of human
resources recruiting.PHR or SHRM-CP certification.SPHR or SHRM-SCP
