The Director of Customer Experience will be responsible for the strategic development and influence on programs that have a direct and positive impact on our customers' experience. This includes working across global functions and geographies to mobilize the company around a unified view of the customer experience that defines, develops and oversees the implementation of a portfolio of initiatives designed to optimize customer experience and pricing. A key element of the role is leveraging data to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and build customer loyalty through process and pricing optimization.. You will work collaboratively with individual market leaders in the development of segment based service and device pricing, promotional strategies for our wireless, broadband and video services, mapping customer journeys and building a multi-year execution roadmap to improve execution around customer experience. The work will include both acquisition and customer retention programs. You will also be responsible for modeling the financial implications of any proposed pricing or customer experience strategies and present your findings to executive level leadership.. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations leaders across the ATN group of companies to understand market needs and ultimately develop customer experience, pricing and promotions across channels and lines of business that align with corporate and commercial strategy. Developing and gathering feedback from the field, you will ensure our overall customer experience, pricing and promotions are effective and competitive. You will develop and customer experience dashboard and pricing return analysis that will demonstrate that the customer experience is consistently improving and superior to that of competitors. Illustrative activities include -. Pricing. • Return in investment analysis: Perform post-mortem analysis on service promotions to determine the return on investment for individual sales and marketing campaigns.. • Customer segmentation: Develop usage, product, demographic and psychographic customer segments and develop pricing schemes that will resonate with each key setment. • Customer retention pricing: Analyze churn by customer segments and develop pricing treatments designed to retain customers.. • Predictive modeling / forecasting (e.g. price elasticity): Develop models that will help predict sales volumes and financial returns given prospective pricing changes.. • Competitive analysis: Analyze the competitive environment and pricing approaches that take advantage of pricing opportunities presented by competitors.. • Bi-annual portfolio pricing reviews: Perform bi-annual pricing reviews that adjust pricing to support the company’s strategic goals (e.g. share growth, customer retention, ARPU growth, penetration of particular customer segments). • Product profitability analysis: Develop bottoms up financial analysis of the underlying cost to offer each service and develop pricing that enables the desired profit margin. • Pricing and ROI presentations: Translate financial modeling into actionable plans that are captured in PowerPoint presentations that you present to senior management. Customer Experience. • Customer lifecycle journey mapping: Map end to end customer lifecycle and determine which are most impactful to improving the customer experience. Define the ideal state.. • Create multi-year improvement roadmap: Identify key processes where the customer experience is flawed and develop a multi-year program to improve upon key processes.. • Develop and manage a customer experience dashboard: Develop key metrics that provide insight into the customer experience, track results and recommend operational improvements based on the findings.. It is critical you move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers. You must be capable of working independently to identify and exploit pricing, customer retention, customer acquisition, promotion or customer segment opportunities.. Basic Qualifications:. • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Marketing or Finance; MBA preferred.. • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in a pricing organization; 6+ years’ experience preferred.. • Digital experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers in the wireless, broadband and/or video markets.. • Previous experience with the following responsibilities:. Presenting findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive). Product and/or Service pricing. Gathering competitive insights. Defining business benefits to technology solutions. Leading pricing strategies across various lines of business. Developing and executing on promotional strategies. Providing a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities. Juggling multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Designing custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights. Translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team. • Financial acumen and experience with creating financial models.. • Understanding of broad technologies used by our customers.. • Understanding of buying behaviors and technology trends to address business pricing requirements..
