Job Description:
Basic Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent
required.* 1 year switchboard or banking experience required.* 6
months experience with Microsoft Office and Excel required.*
Ability to operate multi-function telephone switchboard with
minimal training. Job Purpose and Scope: Primarily responsible for
answering and directing calls through the corporate telephone
switchboard for the Corporate and Branch office. Additional
responsibilities include monitoring the delivery access area and
provide backup support for lock box retrieval and mail processing.
Essential Job Functions: * Ensures customers, internal and
external, receive exceptional service at all times.* Answers and
directs calls through the telephone switchboard for the corporate
office in accordance with the Bank's Telephone Courtesy Course
guidelines.* Documents accurate messages and conveys those messages
timely to recipients.* Provides administrative/clerical support to
department manager.* Performs basic data entry and
administrative/clerical tasks.* Receives, documents, scans, sorts,
notifies, and validate receipt of incoming courier shipments.*
Greets and assists vendors entering the delivery access area and
serves as primary point of contact for vendor entry validation.*
Monitors physical access entry point; checking vendor credentials
and issuing vendor temporary access cards for those vendors
requesting building access through the delivery area in accordance
with the Bank's Physical Security Policy.* May assist as necessary
in the Lock Box and Mail Processing area. Sorting mail and lock box
payments according to detailed procedures.* Photocopies and sorts
documents with attention to detail.* Assembles report packages.*
Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.* Follows Bank
policies, procedures and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Professional telephone skills, with ability to handle multiple,
simultaneous, incoming calls.* Ability to communicate
professionally and effectively with all levels of management.*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work
under general supervision.* Ability to adapt well to change and
work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.* Skill in using
computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.*
Knowledge of customer service principles and practice. Equipment
