Job Description:
Description Summary: Works in collaboration with the Department
Head to identify educational needs of staff in the specialty area,
to develop programs to meet these needs, and evaluate outcomes.
Orients new staff, trains and serves as a mentor for preceptors,
assures competency validation of new staff and facilitates annual
competency validation updates. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in
Nursing is required 5 years of experience in the specialty area
Previous experience in education working with the adult learner is
required RN license in Texas is required CPR certification is
required; ACLS or PALS is preferred Certification in specialty area
is preferred Work Type: Full Time
