Welspun has immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative with NACE Level II experience in Coating.

Welspun's Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of its kind in technology for producing pipes for the oil and gas industry. The HFW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inches to 20" and wall thickness from 0.158" to 0.551".

*Job Summary*: Responsible for representing Welspun Tubular and liaising on-site with all customers and third parties. Responsible for establishing relationships with customers and third parties that are built on integrity, professionalism and customer centricity. Also responsible for attending to all customers and third parties project related activities, such as unloading product at site, identifying and resolving quality or logistics issues, carrying out inspections, performing repairs and rectifications or directing others to do so.

*Ideal Candidates will have the following skills: *

- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers; using operations knowledge and a quality focus to resolve issues, in the most cost effective and efficient means possible and to the customers' satisfaction.

- Coordinate and liaise with customer and/ or third party, at unloading site, to ensure careful and proper offloading of pipe, smooth flow of work and to ensure customer satisfaction with product quality.

- Monitor unloading of bare or coated pipe at assigned customer sites, conducting visual inspection of each pipe to identify any damages incurred during transportation, loading and unloading, with the potential to jeopardize quality/functionality of pipe; and to verify all markings on the pipes to ensure product traceability.

- Correct, rework and repair the pipes at customer site as required, as per agreed ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).

- Following repairs, use in-depth quality and operations knowledge to identify and reject the pipes which don't meet criteria or accept the pipes which have been repaired to the customer specifications.

- Keep reporting manager informed of all activities on a daily basis, including reporting of pipes

rejected and the reason(s) for the rejection.

- Inspect raw material at steel supplier plant, as per agreed RMTDC (Raw Material Technical delivery Condition) or agreed MPS (Manufacturing Process Specification); reporting any findings to Director of Quality.

- When available and as necessary, collaborate with yard personnel and monitor the loading of pipes from the plant, for all types of transportation, such as railcar, barges and various types and sizes of trucks.

- When at the plant, carry out pipe inspection and documentation safely and efficiently as per work instructions and job safety analysis.

- When required, attend to customer issues for pipes supplied from the US, India or KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

- Inspect repaired coated pipes, in all respects, and ensure that each pipe meets required customer specifications, with final authority to reject and approve pipe as required.

- Carry out Holiday Test Inspection, performing grinding and coating repair operations safely and efficiently as per work instructions and job safety analysis.

- Ensure the set voltage of the jeeper is meeting the requirements as per process data sheets at all times; to then mark as acceptable or proceed with required repairs.

- Ensure to carry out jeeping operation, on coating repaired area, at all times, to ensure pipe quality meets or exceeds customers' expectations.

- Ensure and maintain the portable jeeper in good condition, reporting immediately on wear and tear of the same and outlining whether repair or replacement is required.

- Ensure cut back area, bevel and root face are free of epoxy coating, with acceptance of the pipe based on agreed ITP (Inspection Test Plan) before pipe goes into the stack or to dispatch.

- Ensure that pipe inside diameter is free of any foreign material before stacking or loading; responsibility for cleaning the pipe is required.

- Ensure pipe is having required bar codes and visible stencils before stacking or loading; final responsibility for managing, oversight and making required corrections.

- Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment as outlined and required in job safety analysis; which includes (but is not limited to) never crossing under a pipe that is suspended off of the ground.

- Provides quality inspection and repair training for junior personnel as required.

Salary based on experience.

*Education: * Associate degree with minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience or high school level with 4 to 5 years of experience of pipe coating or pipe manufacturing, and handling customers /suppliers/ TPI (Third Party Inspectors) at sites in the relevant field
