seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support
projects across the Cloud Business Unit focusing in on Defense and
National Security Clients. The Senior Solutions Architect will
design and develop technical solutions for high visibility client
engagements. The Senior Solutions Architect must be a proven
problem solver in technical disciplines and management disciplines
well as have a keen understanding of DoD IT related standards and
policy. The Senior Solutions Architect serves in various functions,
such as cloud technical SME, lead project architect, as well as
performing capture support. The Senior Solutions Architect works
directly with clients in a lead role as well as other Solutions
Architects, Cloud Engineers, and other personnel. This individual
will bring a passion for technology, a strong technical and
leadership skill set, and a proven track record of success in
delivering innovative Cloud Solutions that exhibit best practices
implementations.**Primary Responsibilities:**+ Lead and support
technical delivery of cloud solutions on client engagements. Act as
a trusted advisor for technical decisions during client
engagements. Develop courses of action using innovative and best
practices cloud solution architecture based on customer
requirements+ Act as Technical Lead on projects involving
multi-tenant cloud environments providing technical direction and
oversite to other Solutions Architects and Cloud Engineers. Lead
execution activities across the full project lifecycle, from
planning, through implementation, to operational readiness+ Drive
Solution Design and assist with determining level of effort
estimates for various initiatives using information provided as
part of the solicitation documentation, to determine most cost
efficient and effective approaches.+ Perform architecture, design,
and requirements analysis. Focus on cloud-native services,
DevSecOps Automation, and optimizing the customer landscape through
adoption of these services.+ Facilitate white-boarding solutions
architecture sessions to help customers understand complex
architectures and concepts+ Take ownership of issues and act with
high sense of urgency when required providing direct support to
customers providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting
direction, and complex problem resolution.+ Actively participate in
the development and review of business and system requirements to
obtain a thorough understanding of customer needs to deliver
accurate solutions.+ Architect solutions to complex client
challenges to support their broader cloud adoption objectives+
Produce clear and concise documentation including program-level,
design artifacts, as-built documents, and user level documentation
to fully capture technical baselines and operational capabilities
to guide operations and activities associated to enterprise scale
cloud environments**Required Skills & Experience**+ Current DoD
Secret Level clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance+
This role requires US citizenship required for work under DOD
contract+ Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified. Some examples
(CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC. Security+ CE. CND and SSCP)+ 8+
years overall IT experience+ 5+ years building and migrating
infrastructure solutions on Cloud Platforms+ AWS Certified Solution
Architect Associate (Professional preferred)+ Cloud Subject Matter
expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google
Cloud Platform.+ Ability to translate customer requirements and
needs into proven design patterns+ Solution Design leadership and
delivery experience utilizing key Department of Defense guidance
and governance including DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements
Guide, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Secure Cloud Computing
Architecture (SCCA)+ Extensive knowledge of, and hands on with, DoD
Enterprise networks and understanding how those solutions translate
to a cloud environment.+ Skills in design and delivery areas of
Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Architecture, and Security as well as
hands on core system administration skills in Linux or Windows+
Extensive skills with networking, and storage components (e.g.
Operating systems / virtual machines, containers, TCP-IP / DNS,
Block / File / Object storage, etc.).+ Experience with
Infrastructure as Code using appropriate tooling+ Problem
determination skills from design issues through packet level
inspection to determine root causes of issues.+ Direct experience
in migrating on premise applications to cloud including methods
such as rehosting, replatforming, and rearchitecting.+ Experience
and working knowledge of automation techniques and development of
pipelines/ scripts within a DevSecOps model and associated tooling+
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to
clearly articulate themes, ideas, and other insights to clients,
company management, and relevant stakeholders+ Strong creative
ability to generate ideas for solving complex problems and
producing outcomes+ Able to adjust to frequent changes in
priorities, effectively managing time and working across multiple
projects with competing deadlines+ Ability to think strategically
and tactically+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+
