Writing**Summary:**Assists in preparing budgets and completing
forms for research grant or contract proposals and obtaining the
approvals necessary for grant submission. Responsible for managing
the intramural programs. Assist in the pre-submission and pre-award
processes of the extramural grant programs. Collects information
regarding publications, presentations and extramural funding from
work supported by intramural grants.**Additional

Council**Description**1. Assists in developing budgets and budget
justifications for grant or contract applications.2. Ensures
proposal budgets are in compliance and advises on budget
requirements and guidelines.3. Collects information/documents
needed for grant submission, completes grant application forms, or
verifies that application sections/forms are included and formatted
correctly.4. Assists with project management and scheduling for
grant/contract submissions to ensure all tasks are completed.5.
Clarifies proposal preparation guidelines and facilitates internal
routing and signoff for grant applications and renewals.6.
Coordinates the assembly of the required information for
contracts/subcontracts and interacts with counterpart.7. Researches
and keeps abreast of rules and regulations related to grant
preparation and submissions.8. Delivers presentations on the grant
budget preparation process and trains/mentors on grant/contract
proposal budget development.9. Performs other duties as
