Work you'll do / Responsibilities
The Chief Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will be supporting a large IT Modernization effort being undertaken by a federal healthcare client. This ISSO role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Cybersecurity program by implementing and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity related documentation (i.e., Department of State Health Sector Cybersecurity Framework policy, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Executive Order 14028, and Health Data protection Competencies (HDPC). The ISSO is responsible for ensuring the integrity of programs and systems throughout the project development process through complying to federal cybersecurity guidelines within the context of the federal client. The qualified candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Qualifications
Required
3 years of experience as a lead in information security supporting federal government contracts
Bachelors degree with 13 years of Information Systems Security experience
Masters degree with 10 years of Information Systems Security experience
Experience implementing and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity related documentation (i.e., Department of State Health Sector Cybersecurity Framework policy, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Executive Order 14028, and Health Data protection Competencies (HDPC)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,000-$171,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational.
