Job Description:
Job Description of Laborer (Floater)The responsibility of the
Laborer (Floater) is to assist anywhere along the production line
as necessary and other duties as assigned. The Laborer Floater
needs to be aware of all the hazards of every job and abide by the
safety regulations. This is a FT position but will float between
production lines. The laborer floater shifts are; 7am-3pm,
3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. Pay ranges from $14.75- $15.25 - -Main Duties
and Responsibilities: --- Cross-train on any position on the
production line as deemed necessary. --- Fill in for other
operators during their breaks and lunch on the production line
after proper - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - training. ---
Housekeeping in and outside of the plant or any are designated by
supervisor. --- Fill in for other employees if they are ill or on
vacation. --- Responsible for machine lace up. --- The ability to
work rotating shifts and/or weekends. --- The ability to work
overtime as required. --- Other duties as assigned. - - -Physical
Requirements --- The ability to lift up to 120 lb repeatedly.---
The ability to climb ladders. --- The ability to work in hot and
humid environments (up to 115 F). --- May be required to
stoop/bend/crouch for brief periods. - - -Qualifications, Required
Skills and Competencies --- Basic math (addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division) and counting skills. --- The ability
to work in safe and efficient manner. --- Good communication
skills. --- Forklift training and certification About the Central
