and team of dedicated employees. Job Summary: The Master Planner is
responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities
and flow of departments and teams within a manufacturing and
production environment. This role ensures efficient and
cost-effective processes while maintaining accurate records and
meeting business goals. The scheduling of activities, managing of
incoming/outgoing inventory, inventory management through a strong
understanding of ERP systems, managing engineering deliverables,
maintaining safety compliance, developing production strategies and
setting production targets are the key components for this role.

- Problem Solving Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Production planning and scheduling to ensure that production
activities are planned and sequenced effectively to meet customer
demand and production targets.
- Communicate and collaborate with departments and interact with
stakeholders, senior management, suppliers, and customers to ensure
alignment on production plans and priorities and responsibilities
are met.
- Coordinate and work with suppliers to ensure raw material
availability where needed for production.
- Manage and maintain appropriate inventory levels forecasting
demand, and optimizing stock levels of raw materials,
work-in-progress, and finished goods to avoid shortages and
minimize costs.
- Develop Master Production Schedules ( MPS ) to create long-term
and short-term plans for production, considering customer demand,
capacity constraints, and inventory goals to achieve specific
deliverables
- Monitor and track the progress of production against the MPS,
identify bottlenecks within the production process and develop
strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular team meetings and brainstorm with team leaders
to improve production output by setting achievable goals and
planning efficient schedules.
- Present data and provide regular reporting to management on
production status, capacity, and inventory levels.
- Analyze and forecast future demand based on historical data and
market trends to optimize production planning.
- Implement improvement initiatives to continuously improve the
planning process to reduce costs, risks, and variation.
- Utilize ERP software to achieve these objectives Required

preferred Education and Experience:
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in
business, engineering, or planning
- A minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
computer
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time
