Collaborative and positive team culture.ResponsibilitiesRevolution Company is now hiring for a Purchasing Lead in Little Rock, AR. This role will be responsible for managing all company purchasing requests, developing and implementing strategic plans to improve the organization's financial performance, and make specific recommendations for cost reduction and cost avoidance in inventory, planning, scheduling, purchasing, distribution, and forecasting. The succesful candidate would work closely with SVP, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Plant/Operations Management, Engineering, CAPEX, Sales Management, and Customer Service, to ensure optimum service levels to our internal and external constituents. Working closely with the Sales team to ensure correct inventories are on hand, in transit, or on order for finished goods procurement. Monitors and maintains purchase requisitions for accuracy and timely receipt.Detect, research, and resolve purchasing issues and problems with incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments.Maintain a calendar with the scheduling of incoming orders.Develops planning, purchasing parameters, forecasts, and standard cost lists. Analyze demand history and external factors to forecast demand at the product level. Manages the placement of inventory purchase orders with suppliers, both domestic and imported. Tracks time-lines for all supply chain activities, holding suppliers accountable to deadlines. Analyzes inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. Review or update supply chain practices following new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws. Maintains and files all required data to maintain compliance with all internal and external regulatory programs.Documents physical chain processes, such as work-flows, cycle times position responsibilities, and system flows. Reviews analysis of supplier performance or program success, and meets with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, or discuss production forecasts or changes. QualificationsBachelor's degree in the supply chain, logistics, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and /or work experience. Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a supply chain role.Prior experience in packaging, beverage, food, or other clean manufacturing environments with familiarity with quality, GMP, and hygiene regulations required.Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role.Experience with continuous improvement and process improvement experience such as Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen events preferred.Experience in ERP implementations and materials management systems.Strong analytical and data mining skills.Strong project management and task management skills.Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Power-Point, and Project.Ability to adapt and be flexible in an agile & dynamic environment.Excellent communication, leadership, written, verbal, problem resolution, and customer service skills.Willingness to travel as needed.About RevolutionHeadquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, Revolution Believes in Better Plastics that help preserve our environment for future generations.
