**This position requires you to be on-site at our Little Rock, AR
location. This is NOT a remote work position.**The Business
Intelligence SQL Analyst is responsible for building, implementing,
and supporting business intelligence solutions. The right
individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work
(requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation,
testing, and deployment). The developer will also need a firm grasp
of BI implementation methodologies and in-depth professional
experience in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MSSQL, and
Excel).WHAT YOU'LL DODevelopment and implementation of new ETL
processes to extract data from various systems and load into the
Riggs BI Reporting DatabaseSupport, monitor, and make
recommendations for BI infrastructureCreate and maintain
documentation related to the BI infrastructureMonitor and
administer Riggs's Tableau ServerCreate, publish, and maintain data
sources supporting self-service data analyticsMonitor project
progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing
progress reports; recommending actions to the IT ManagerMaintain
user confidence and protect operations by ensuring quality
information is producedMaintain professional and technical
knowledge by attending events, webinars, and educational
opportunitiesOwn and maintain all dealership databases and champion
data qualityDrive customer-focused solution development and
business strategies by integrating multiple sources of data and
sharing findings with management through written reports and
effective visualizations.Support internal analytics teams by
facilitating knowledge-sharing and skill developmentBuild and
maintain strong working relationships with all departments within
the enterprise
Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL NEEDBachelor's degree or 3 or more years related
experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
(education may be waived due to on the job experience)2+ years of
Business Intelligence experience2+ years of database design or
integration experience with SQL Server databases
(2014+)Professional experience developing complex ETL processes,
designing/developing logical and physical database models, and
developing complex queries using T-SQLBusiness awareness and
numerical ability.Ability to take ownership of projects and be
self-directedProficient in using analytical tools and
instrumentsAbility to estimate tasks accurately and meet agreed
upon deadlinesAbility to read, write, and speak fluent
EnglishAbility to debug and solve problems effectively and
efficientlyFamiliarity with agile methodology or similar project
management approachFamiliarity with Tableau Desktop or similar
visual analysis reporting tools (such as Power BI)Familiarity in:
IBM I DB@ (AS/400), API Programming, C#, JavaScript, and Full Stack
