Job Description:
About the Pest Control Service Technician
Purpose: Pest Control Service Technicians remove and prevent pests
and termites from households, apartment buildings, places of
businesses, and other structures, to protect people and maintain
structural integrity.
Reports To: Service Manager
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5 PM
Benefits: Vacation pay, holiday pay, medical/dental care (employee
premium 100% paid by company), retirement plan, sick pay
Credentials: Have or obtain the required Arkansas registered
applicator certification
Work Experience: 2+ years of work experience in any field; pest
control work is a plus
Compensation: $37k+ yearly + health and dental (company pays 100%
of both for employee), life, disability (short/long term),

Perform inspections for pests, pest harborages, and pest
entryways
Determine, recommend, and provide required pest management
services
Inform customers on how to reduce pest pressures through proper
sanitation, storage, and landscaping
Prepare written reports for customers, and explain services
provided when possible
Operate and maintain service vehicle, and other service equipment
per government, and company guidelines
Utilize, secure, and store products and materials in strict
accordance with labels, and government and company guidelines
Upsell customers when appropriate, and/or refer sales opportunities
to a supervisor, and support sales efforts as much as possible
Document service activities as required, and complete and submit
paperwork as directed
Maintain licenses, certifications, and/or registrations as
required, and participate in company training as directed
Ensure the required equipment, products, and materials are on
service vehicle to perform scheduled services
Perform termite inspections in crawlspaces, interiors and exteriors
on a variety of structures; looking for evidence of termites or
conditions that could promote termite activity
Our Pest Control Service Technicians must have a valid Arkansas
driver's license that can satisfy our insurance company
requirements. We also require preemployment and periodic drug
tests. Preemployment background checks are required for us to meet
our bonding requirements.
Because our Pest Control Service Technicians must physically check
into the office each morning, preference is given to candidates who
live within 25 miles of our office to ensure reasonable commuting
times and costs.
