Riggs CATDescription: The Engine Rebuild Technician is
responsible for rebuilding major components of engines, determining
necessary repairs, and completing engine repair to full
specifications.WHAT YOU'LL DO --- Clean machines, components, and
parts.--- Load and unload equipment, components, and parts.---
Transport equipment, components, and parts around the facility.---
Remove and install, disassemble and assemble, and repair or
recondition equipment, components, or parts.--- Determine
reusability of parts.--- Performance test and make necessary
adjustments to equipment, components, or parts, using proper
tooling and service information.--- Diagnose and correct the cause
of malfunction or complaint on components using the proper tooling
and most current service information.--- Plan and conduct
reconditioning type repairs.--- Complete service documentation,
parts acquisition and return, tool acquisition and return, service
and technical information retrieval, and other activities to enable
prompt invoicing and collection of service work performed.---
Perform all tasks in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction
and prompt invoicing and payment for work performed.--- Take proper
care of all company owned assets and keeps work area clean and
orderly.--- Make minor repairs or assists Field Technicians in the
field when needed to support customers.--- Assist in training lower
level Technicians when needed.--- Perform all of the above
functions in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.--- Other
duties as required in support of Riggs customers and business
operations.Requirements: WHAT YOU'LL NEED-- High school diploma or
general education degree (GED); or suggest three to five years
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.-- Ability to read and comprehend simple
instructions, short correspondence, and memos and the ability to
write simple correspondence.-- Obtain or currently possess adequate
tooling to perform duties.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONWhile performing the
duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand;
walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and
arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee
is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is
occasionally required to sit or smell. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
focus.The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid
conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles;
outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The
employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and
vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually
moderate. Employee must be able to frequently lift 20 pounds and 50
pounds occasionally.The work environment characteristics described

performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable
