Bonus: $5,000 Location: 400 NE 7th St, Fulda, MN 56131 Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist: Patient Assessment & Evaluation: Perform evaluations to identify the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of patients that impact their daily activities. Treatment Plan Development & Implementation: Design tailored intervention strategies aimed at enhancing independence in daily living and work-related tasks. Therapeutic Activity Provision: Lead patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and training with assistive devices to improve motor skills and coordination. Patient & Family Education: Offer guidance to patients and caregivers on coping strategies, home modifications, and methods to enhance quality of life and independence. Progress Monitoring & Plan Adjustment: Track patient advancements, document progress, and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Partner with physicians, physical therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Qualifications for the Occupational Therapist: Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and hold a bachelor’s degree. Must possess a current, accredited Minnesota Occupational Therapy (OTR) license. Must have a solid understanding of state, federal, and local regulations related to long-term care. Must be capable of fulfilling the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be proficient in English, both spoken and written, and possess adequate communication skills to perform required tasks.
