ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts in the PICU • May occasionally float to NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU as needed • Floating is required within the ICU cluster and travelers are first to float • Every other weekend schedule required • No on-call responsibilities, but holidays are required as needed • Schedule is manager/scheduler driven • 3 years of recent PICU experience required • Previous travel experience (1-2 assignments) required • Recent EPIC EMR experience required • Active Arkansas or Compact License required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS • Must pass fit test with no facial hair unless for religious beliefs • Must test negative for nicotine • Expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing • Follow facility dress code requirements • Nurse-to-patient ratios: PICU 1:1-2, IMCU 1:3-4 • Work with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication system • Care for patients with respiratory distress, CRRT, ECMO, post arrest, trauma, neuro conditions, surgical post-ops, and various pediatric specialties • Collaborate with CNA/PCT support (1-2 per shift), residents, fellows, and attending physicians Facility: This major pediatric healthcare facility is a 359-bed trauma level 1 teaching hospital specializing in comprehensive children's healthcare services. The facility features a 26-bed PICU and 13-bed IMCU, providing advanced critical care for pediatric patients.
